Merry Christmas Storm Fans

The team finished the pre-Christmas portion of the season with wins against St. Catherines and Grey Bruce sandwiching a tough lose to the strong Welland Tigers.

Yesterday, the squad suited up against the parents. Unlike past matches against the parents, this was a close, competitive game until the very end. The grown ups were decisively weaker in team speed, defensive play and transition. In spite of this, we rallied and edged the "kids" (by my count).

In the previous years, the grown ups used size, speed and team play to their advantage and "toyed" with the team. These days have clearly come to an end. I suspect the team will have their way with the dads in the future.

I will try to catch up with the photos over the next week or so.

Merry Christmas to all, Ken
