Guelph 2, Grey Bruce 1




...In another closely fought match, Guelph edged out a persistant squad from Grey Bruce to remain in a battle for 4th place. Although Guelph picked up a valuable 2 points, they remain slightly behind Burlington and Hamilton with 6 games remaining(standings). Next game, Grey Bruce (rematch) on Monday.

Guelph 1, Burlington 1




...The much anticipated showdown, Jan 21st vs. Burlington, was a closely fought match, with the visitors scoring late to knot up the score. Both teams had a number of good scoring chances, but in the end, team defense and strong goaltending prevailed.
...The tie keeps Guelph in a 5th place tie with Burlington, just a point behind Hamilton in 4th (standings). Next up, Grey Bruce on Monday.

Halton 3, Guelph 1




After recent victories over Brampton 2 to 1 and Hamilton 2 to 0, Guelph lost a tough game against Halton Hurricanes last night, 3 to 1. They remain in 4th place with a very important game against Burlington on Monday.

Two Out of Three Ain't Bad...



After losing 4 to 2 to the Niagara Falls Thunder, Guelph got back in the win column, beating Brampton 2 to 1 and the Hamilton 2 to 0. The win vaults Guelph back into a tie for 4th place.

Guelph Defeats Oakville, But "Falls" Short vs Niagara



Guelph began the week by beating the 1st place squad from Oakville, vaulting Guelph into a 3 way tie for 4th place with Burlington and Hamilton. Their winning ways ended abruptly in Niagara Falls, losing 4 to 2 to the Thunder.

Guelph Defeats Mighty Oakville


Excellent goaltending and strong team defense allowed Guelph to hold on and defeat Oakville, handing the league leading, home team just their 3rd loss of the season (others to Welland and Halton). The win vaults Guelph into a 3 way tie for 4th place with Burlington and Hamilton.
